Service Coordinator Anna-Lisa Tedeschi just celebrated her third anniversary with Select Telecom in March, a milestone which she appreciates for the novelty and challenge every day in her position brings. “I enjoy helping customers,” Anna-Lisa explains, “and every day is different because I talk to different people and encounter different situations. It’s always something new.”
In fact, chances are good that you may be one of the hundreds of customers that Anna-Lisa has spoken to over the phone. As Service Coordinator, Anna-Lisa is tasked with dispatching calls, scheduling site visits for the technicians, assisting customers with accounts receivable questions, maintaining customer files, and even helping customers to troubleshoot issues over the phone. “There’s always a lot of scheduling to be done around here!” Anna-Lisa laughs.
It’s a good thing that Anna-Lisa is no stranger to project management. Prior to joining Select Telecom, she served as a production manager for Fred Russell Publishing where she supervised publication of the Rock House Method instructional music books and DVDs. She joined Fred Russell after a brief hiatus enjoying her then-toddler sons at home, before which she began a successful career in marketing consumer packaged goods (Post cereals, to be exact) at Kraft Foods and Reckitt Benckiser, Inc. (of Lysol cleaning product fame).
What you may not know is that Anna-Lisa’s early experience at Kraft has led to more than just professional success – she actually met her husband, Frank, through a friend she worked with at General Foods (way back when before the merger with Kraft). Nowadays, Anna-Lisa and her husband can often be found at the local hockey rink, cheering on their sons Frank (15, a defenseman) and Ricky (12, a goalie). In fact, Anna-Lisa’s sons are so talented on the ice that their games have been known to draw massive crowds of rowdy fans, some of whom (Tina Tedeschi, Mike Durante, and Marie Tedeschi, amongst others) you may already know from Select Telecom!
Hockey Mom, Service Coordinator, and Marketer Extraordinaire! Anna-Lisa has worn many hats in her time, and Select Telecom is proud to call her one of our own.
